The ticket is not stamped
premise: that, more than a blog, is a private diary that I commend the network, perhaps because fascinated by the fact that even if nobody reads it, someone might read.
Not that I lack things to write, but I miss the time. If I had 48 hours a day, Daily Mail and my thoughts. Especially against the current. To say, there is a 90% chance that I think so radically different from you about gypsies and international policy. Also on Alitalia, and much more on the abolition of the ICI. But maybe you'll never know (and live equally well).
I stumbled across the blog " Noticketonthebus " of kingfreak, controller which tells about his ups and downs, so I would say almost poetic, and simultaneously proposed to improve the civic sense in this regard. Congratulations to kingfreak for a better synthesis of the two objectives would be really impossible.
Just because I like to be against, but without the intention of opposition, I would like to tell a story in which "good" and the abuse and the "bad" is the controller, it is a true story.
Rome, one of a hot July day. Krupp Professor and Professor Meyer, internationally renowned mathematicians (I changed the names but they really exist) for a long time waiting for the bus. The professor wielding two tickets in hand, so as to keep them, ready to speed up the arrival of public transport. The slim physique the professor is a bit 'worn by its a which is not used. You would not want to show it, but Professor Krupp understands. One might ask why not take a taxi. The fact is that both are accustomed to the bus. In their city, in fact, they move only by public transport, working and punctual. So much so that neither of them felt the need to buy a car. The wait is prolonged until nearly half an hour when the bus finally arrives.
Alas, it is full. People from all rooms and three doors, including the central one which would be reserved for the descent. Krupp Professor takes a look at his colleague. They like to see on his face motion of discouragement. Its old-fashioned gentleman of good repute is called upon to protect the damsel in distress, then, feeling compelled to take matters in hand, decide. "Kommen Sie mit, bitte," said the colleague, and finds a way through the front door. Moreover, almost miraculously, a place freed right next to the door at the drop-down is near. By decision helps the teacher to sit Meyer. Swap a few words of comfort to her, maybe lingers a bit ', swaying in the success of chivalry. Then it's time to stamp your ticket. However, it is not exactly easy for him to go against the bus full, to get to the stamping machine placed in front the back door. The fact is that the controller salt at the very moment when the reaches.
must say that, like any true scientist, Professor Krupp bears no resemblance to a scientist. I would say that he looks like a bum or an illegal immigrant. For him, get to enter into an Italian bank is a real tragedy. The fact is that it gives certainty to the controller to have hit the target. So you print a wry smile on his face and addressed him rudely giving of yourself: "Just look ', remember to stamp only when you see the controller, eh?". Krupp speaks near-perfect Italian, though with a Teutonic accent evident. "Ach, I zcuzi time, the bus was full, my colleague is so Stanko, I did setere then you have come to QVA timprare. "But the old fox returning to Rio Betrayed (sorry kingfreak) certainly does not impress from the usual excuse from peanuts.
It is an argument . I would not say an altercation, because Professor Krupp is a very quiet man and would be quite willing to even pay the fine, do not, however, to suffer the ironic speculation on your honesty. (I saw the fines as they do in his country: ".. . and next time remember that this type of ticket is not valid here, sir. ") understands that the attitude of the controller affects his humble attitude, he pulls out a sheet of paper with the letterhead of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and explains who is here at the invitation of the Italian Government and that the short you can believe if he says that the ticket (paid in advance, by the way) wanted to punch him. Nothing to do. The heat begins to irritate even the Professor Krupp, who cut short impatiently: "I do not speak Italian." A true assists for the controller, new Sherlock Holmes, who triumphantly exclaims: "Oh, before you know the Italian and suddenly you do not know anymore! What a strange!"
The matter would last maybe much longer. However, several passengers had noticed the moves of the couple and possibly the conditions of my colleague. So a couple of women to the controller confirmed that the couple actually had just uphill. Degrade, perhaps, a day already unpleasant in itself.
course, during this event, the many abuses that populate every bus Roman down, leaving it half empty.

Cubase Dongle For Mac
06/17/2008 11/06/2008
The Reform Committee is, precisely, the group designated to propose solutions to the Faculty Council for a successful implementation of the reform. This Committee is composed of:
- from the Joint Committee on Education: composed of the President (until November that is still the prof. Diani), two professors (Prof. Blanco and prof. Cobalt) and three students ( I Sorina Toezser and Elizabeth Taddeo)
- 7 by the Presidents of the Councils of Degree (Sociology, SPIE, SS, LOSI, STA, SRS, MOSS)
- and the director of the graduate faculty of inter-SIX (Prof. Brunazzo).
the agenda was the amendment to the academic regulations.
The debate lasted for hours, so I avoid to sum it all up. Rather than point out the most important novelties introduced.
Access to Bachelor's degree and advanced degrees from next year. reform as a mandatory test that "monitor" the predisposition of the student for the course selected studies and basic requirements. If these requirements were not there, you can still register and attend. It is understood, however, that if we create exceptionally high criteria, this test becomes, in effect, a kind of entrance test. Luckily no one was not going to use this trick. And the criteria were very affordable.
For three years - Social Services, being a "number" is chiaremente excluded from them. Sociology for it requires knowledge of the major computer software writing, computing and internet and English (level A2). International Studies, in addition to computer programs, requires a level B1. If these requirements there must be made up during the course of studies, taking advantage of free courses offered by the University.
consideration - even now, to attend the course "Cell sociology" of the first year of the triennial, B1 is required, so ...
For specialist - to avoid the test, it was decided to consider a vote of three-year degree. Someone wanted a quota 90 (no double political sense of course ...), someone else 100, others thought to set a separate quota for the degree course. The decision is still pending. It will decide in the coming days, probably the solution will be found "in half. "However, a few days before the Committee, having already had hints on this proposal, I'm aware. Over the past three years to go out with less than 90 were really few. The share but now seems more likely is 95. Below this level there would be 25% of the students. One out of four, to register for the specialist, would be forced to attend an interview with the chairman of the degree course. It would not be a drama seen, but personally I do not understand why a ' Any other selection as the first degree is in itself, a selection in the pipeline. The next committee (19.6) 90 caldeggierò share and see what comes out ...
in addition there the proposed site - which we already had to speak during this Committee, but then, because ristrezza times, was moved to the next - a different calculation of the grade earned. This at worst irrelevant to the highest votes, but would raise the lowest. Next week I'll try to inform me what would the other thresholds theorized.
Final Exam - On this there will be wide "battle" in the next Committee, as one of the proposals in the documents sent to us a few days ago, is that the final examination of three years to become an issue as all other . You choose a speaker, do the thesis, and he will deliver it to him assigns a rating of thirty that makes media with others. Represented to us that we were there, it seemed like a great stupidagine unanimously, useful only to eliminate the embarrassing habit of many teachers, not to read the arguments presented. However, the only decision on this issue is for those who decide to take the written examination, in place of the thesis. This mode is of degree, but after the theme, there will also be supported with an oral examination. This innovation, which is a compromise between those who wanted to abolish this mode and those who wanted to keep it, I think it's positive, as a matter of fairness between the two modes of the thesis. It will be useful to stop the proposal for a final exam that I described before (can you imagine if at the end of games, you should add to equity, the oral mode in the second and then it took off for the first? I think / hope that will not happen ...).
Finally: we close with good news. We are working in the new system, there is explicit reference to the balance of workload between semesters. This means that there will be a half with 20 compulsory courses and one with 4, but will need to be calibrated. Good, no?

Sunday opening of the classroom study
With a closer examination of the problems becomes more important the lack of places to study. For this reason we asked the Dean of keep open the reading room of Sociology on Sundays from 14 to 20. The official news should arrive in CdF, 18. With effect from 22 June until 13 July, you will find the study room open. The faculty, however, will remain closed, so you have to enter from the back (so to speak through the door anti-fire). Small note-please, use it!
Why even keep this room open to a charge of surveillance (of course higher on weekdays because it's Sunday and then they are rightly paid as overtime). So, if the turnout is low may close it.
Good study and all and good luck for exams!
PS-Today is out the annual list of Censis: that, I mean, where our faculty is first induscussa. Hear, hear: We're Not So induscussi nor the first! There has exceeded the Milan Bicocca.
personal opinion? As they say in Rome "nun me some ornaments from less." Even when we were first expressed doubts about the parameters of these classifications. Now do not dramatize. Problems of Sociology know what, we have repeated ad nauseum and those necessary to intervene, without waiting for the rankings criteria questionable.
